Ocean Therapy Center opened in April of 2006 under the ownership of Physical Therapists Julietta Planchart and Todd James. We are conveniently located in the Ocean Medical Center in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, FL. Ocean Medical Center specializes in the application of hyperbaric oxygenation treatment (HBOT) for neurologic conditions.
Ocean Therapy Center enjoys a great working relationship with Ocean Medical Center and the patients receiving hyperbaric oxygen. We have years of experience specializing in therapy for neurological recovery and firmly believe the combination of hyperbaric oxygen and therapy will facilitate a person’s recovery.
At Ocean Therapy Center, not only do we specialize in neurologic recovery, but are also versed in orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, and chronic pain therapy. We have successfully treated many diagnosis that include the following: Stroke, Brain Injury, CP, MS, Parkinson’s, Neuromas, Sprains/Strains, Carpal Tunnel, Pain, Arthritis, Tendonititis, and many orthopedic surgical procedures.
Our physical and occupational therapists are all licensed in the state of Florida and hold many certifications in advanced therapy techniques. Our clinic is credentialed with major insurance companies and we are Medicare certified. We continually update our therapy programs and our staff attends continuing education courses and seminars regularly.
